Ricky Valido Day – A Day for Music, Culture, and Community

On March 11th, 2024, the City of Hialeah officially declared the day “Ricky Valido Day”—a profound recognition presented by Mayor Esteban “Steve” Bovo. But the day is more than a tribute to one artist—it stands as a symbolic celebration of country music, cultural unity, and creative spirit. Ricky Valido Day honors not only Ricky’s personal achievements but also the broader impact of music in connecting communities, uplifting stories, and preserving traditions. It is a day for musicians, for fans, for Hialeah, and for future generations of artists who dare to carve their own path. Ricky hopes this day will serve as an enduring inspiration to all who believe in the power of authenticity, heritage, and storytelling through music.

His honors include:

Proclamations from Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public Schools

South Florida Country Music Awards – Dream Chaser Award for Favorite Male Artist (2022, 2023, and beyond)

From his roots in Hialeah, Florida, to national acclaim, Ricky Valido’s journey is a testament to authenticity, cultural pride, and creative excellence. With an ever-growing list of television appearances, awards, and projects ahead, Ricky’s story is just beginning—and his star continues to rise.
